So we took an emergency trip to our neighborhood haircut establishment. I felt so bad for Alli... everyone was giggling and saying how cute it was... she was clearly embarrassed. However... I felt satisfied that she would never be cutting her own hair again. She's now the proud owner of a pixie cut!

She still doesn't look very happy... but by the end of the day... a lesson was learned and a cute little pixie fell asleep happy. xo
*Side note: I was reading thru my blog subscriptions and came across this post from yesterday on Sevi Designs... my very favorite design blog. Apparently her daughter got a little scissor happy yesterday too! I'm not alone! LOL!

Awh...love the pixie cut! Us girls always have to learn the hard way
Oh how sweet....she is too cute. Poor baby had to learn the hard way is right.
she is so sweet! nate shaved his down the center while i was in the shower once
A hard lesson to learn, but she looks adorable no matter what.
That pixie cut suits her so well -- she looks adorable!
oh no..... she is a little cutie pie no matter what.
Awww she is so cute after but that is the day I dread!
Oh the pixie cut is adorable!
My cousin, Katharine, did the same thing. She looked like a little Mia Farrow when all was said and done and she was so PROUD of her new haircut.
Kelly, I'm leaving a comment now :o) May I just copy and paste from fb??? Seriously, she is too adorable! I believe she just wanted to go out and have some fun with her mommy!! Cheers!
Peas Out!

OMG my boys did this and they are 15 and 14 now LOL I have a 4 year old girl and she cut her hair twice.. now I got a one year old... and I hope she doesnt do this... OH man.... mullet.
She is adorable
It amazes me how many little people do this! I recall being so upset when my dd with hair down past her shoulders decided she wanted bangs. How was I going to teach her to never do this agian? Just standing her in front of the mirror was lesson enough! She cried and cried:) You are not alone my dear!
Awwww...she does look cute. Both of my girls did that once too. Neither of my boys have. Must be a girl thing and I think they all go through it. Must be tooo tempting to resist. I'll have to ask my Mom if I did that or any of my sisters.
Hey so did you try the whole celebrity morph thing LMAO!:D
Oh my gosh - I remember my neighbor did this to her hair! Except, it wasn't as fixable. :D
Even though she looks like a cutie pie, I hope she learned her lesson!
After my mom's passing, my dad was a single dad until I was 3...he frequently had issues with my finding scissors and playing stylist on my hair. He hid them, thinking I wouldn't find them...well, on his wedding day (me age 3), I told my brother (age 5) where to find the scissors, and he happily gave me a new haircut free of charge! Thankfully for my dad & his new bride, my aunt is a hairstylist, and fixed it up as well as possible just before the wedding began!
Oh, and in grade school, I used to cut mine with safety scissors after I got sworn off of regular scissors. ;)
Word of advice: don't assume she learned a lesson...cutting is just so darn tempting AND fun! There's bound to be a repeat attempt somewhere down the road!
